We are pleased to announce that the First Moscow Watercolor Festival in Moscow will take place in October 20–22, 2017. The Festival is going to become a real treat for all watercolor lovers.

Artists' watercolors
Activities within the Festival
Watercolor exhibition
An exhibition of contemporary Russian and foreign watercolor artists will be held during the Festival. You will see the originals of the paintings, some of them can be even purchased.
Watercolor Masters from Russia, Germany, USA, Spain, Italy, Belarus, China, Thailand, India, Great Britain will present their paintings.
Workshops
Invited Watercolor Artists will conduct workshops, will discover some secrets of working with watercolor, will share a creative lifehacks. The educational process will be on the artist's native language with consecutive translation into Russian. No more than 14-16 people in a group, entrance is strictly by ticket.
A minimum set of materials will be provided, if you prefer you can use your own tools.
Demo workshops
A demonstrating workshop will allow you to see with your own eyes a creative process of modern watercolor masters. You will see all the stages of painters' work, artists will share their skills with you and disclose their secrets.
At the end of each demo-workshop will be some time for QA session. Up to 50 people in a group, admission is strictly by ticket.
Festival will be held at the stages of prestigious art area DI Telegraph in the center of Moscow

Organising Committee
The Festival is held by Kalacheva Art School, one of the biggest painting school in Russia. The school is licensed by the Russian Ministry of Education for educational activities, offers a lot of online courses (watercolor painting, pastels, oil, calligraphy, academic drawing, human anatomy for students of different levels of training), has 5 studios in Russia (Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Ekaterinburg). 40 teachers currently work at the school.
